According to a diamondpublic blog (dpb) reader, Tragedy struck yesterday in Lagos when a man in his late 40s was electrocuted inside his room.
The residence of odunlami street in shomolu local government Area of the state, were thrown into pandemonium as the sad news of the electrocution of the man simply identified as Segun who held from Ekiti, filtered in.

No boy can say exactly when the incident happened. However report indicated that, Segun was believed to be living alone at the time of the incidence. He was not seen in the morning of the fateful day by his co-tenant, who perhaps, had the impression that he must have gone out. 

According to the reader, “an eye witness said that when the electrician was not seen after several hours, it was assumed by his neighbors that he had gone out early enough to attend his clients. It was one of the neighbors who became worried of his absent and wanted to know why he has not been seen. In the process, Segun’s body was found on the floor of his room. He thereafter raised an alarm which attracted other neighbours. The deceased, it was believed may have been electrocuted by his faulty cooker”. 

It was further gathered that, his neighbours alerted his relations and the police in Shomolu quickly came to the scene. The corpse has since been deposited in the mortuary pending when his family will be ready to bury him.
