.And Darius Dickson Win The Taraba State Governorship Race
The dream I had last night reveal what some readers may not like to hear or read. But believe me, what happen recently, demonstrated by president Jonathan had taught many people who are always ready to died for politician an incredible lesson. It came to pass that the stability, survival and continuity of our nation hung on his decision on the outcome of the election's result. At a point, within that period, the nation experienced a terrifying silence. The president broke the silence by sacrificially congratulated the President elect, General Mohammadu Buhari. For me, Jonathan remain a Character I will ask my children to embrace in politic. "Accept defeat and safe your integrity, don't ride on tiger to grab power"
Back to the real story. I had a dream last night, that Darius Dickson Ishaku gave the following unity speech during inauguration ceremony organized by Taraba state government to mark the beginning of his tenure as face citizen of the state.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My fellow Taraban, I am grateful for the trust you have bestowed upon me. I stand here today humbled by the task before us.
I am grateful to the state PDP stakeholder, PDP card carrying
member, Campaign groups, men and women who have defile their tribal, religion
and political difference and painfully endure the sun scorch to vote for the
change they desired to have in this historical moment.
The words have been spoken during the rising tides of our
campaign rally. At this moment, we celebrate this victory not simply because an
individual fought for the change we are witnessing today, but because we the people
have collectively fought, not with bullet but the ballot which has become the
strongest weapon in hand of the common man in democratic dispensation.
On this day I am here to assure you that you have use your
vote wisely.
On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear.
On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty
grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for
far too long have strangled our politics.
Taraba state is a state of Christian and Muslim, pagan and unbelievers.
We are shaped by every language and culture, draw from every part of our state;
and because we have tasted the bitter swill of religious and tribal crisis and
segregation and emerged from the dark chapter of pass political mischievousness
stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that our old hatred shall
someday pass as our common humanity continual to reveal itself.
Our state’s economy calls for action-not only to create job
but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will mechanize our farm activity. We
will build the roads and bridges that feed our commerce and bind us together.
We will transform our schools and college and university to meet the demand of
the new age.
Nature Gifts to the Nation so we are. The time has come for
us to reaffirm the greatness of our dear state, we understand that greatness is
never a given. It must be earned and the journey has begun today. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up,
dust ourselves off, and begin the work to make our state a safe haven for
commerce and industries.. eeeeeeeee ttttttttt cccccccccccc
