When would this Bloodbath stop in Taraba state As killings continue even today - By J. Diamond

Kwararafa kingdom which form the largest part of Taraba State shared a boundary with Benue State, Cameroon and Plateau state, remained engrossed in incessant killing. The components of kwararafa kingdom which include kpazon, kuteb, wapan, Ichen, ndola, Wanu, wurbo, jibu, Etilu, yukuben, kona and the Chamba are the single majority entity in Taraba state that had contributed so much to the development of Taraba state. Despite with this achievements, the region occupied the largest portion of unemployment in Taraba state. killing and tribal clashes is one of the attribute that characterized this region which embodied other tribes like the Tiv, Hausa, Igbo Igala, Idoma, Yoruba etc. 

 

Daredevil creatures, murdering, killing innocent people in the pool of their own blood. Their heart must be stony, what do they take human being for? Some herd of cattle they can just murder at any time? This is horrifying! The shocking part of this is that the cruel killing involved children and mothers.The gruesome murder of an innocent friend on the recent report caused my blood to ran cold. I could not help but weep profusely not just for the victim but for Nigeria. The killings were barbarous, brutal and vicious. We know what this sort of evil can inflict on an already paralyzed nation like Nigeria. A country where nothing works. Most at time I paused to ponder on one good thing Nigeria is good at but it is crystal clear that this country is good at nothing other than political crisis, tribal and religious violence, fraud, constitutional  crisis, political thuggery, election rigging, political polarity and to top it all terrorism which has murdered millions of innocent people.

Back to my state, especially, the southern Taraba state, Chamba Verse kuteb of the same kwararafa kingdom, Tiv verse jukun, Fulani verse Jukun, Fulani verse Tiv, Kuteb verse Tiv, Christian verse Muslim. Bloodbath upon bloodbath, killing upon killing, hate upon hate, gunfire upon gunfire.

It is regrettable that the Taraba killings mostly, southern Taraba has persist over decade. Whatever it is that aggravates the reoccurring incident in Taraba state, it is high time the federal government does something about this blood seeking monster before the people are all consumed like barbecued cows of roadside aboki. The government must do something judicially to curb this looming violence permanently to restore the glory of the state being fully aware that the glory of the state come from such region.

Taraba state rank first in term of unemployment in the country. From the 9 years reigned of Jolly Nyame to the 8 years reigned of Danbaba Suntai, no open job were created for the youth. An experience which cause a youth to react recently "dem said we no go school, we decided to go to school, now that we don't finished de school dem begin to said job no de" It is a common experience everywhere that jobless youth can be buy over to perpetrate evil in societies

 Acording to Biliyaminu fweje,

 "The job were made available for those with godfather.  They recruit their children, girlfriends and non-indigents secretly, Even the federal opportunities that come to the state are solely theirs. I confirmed his assertion recently as I was denied of a contract job giving to me by the federal government with Health service management board Jalingo. The man in charge openly told me that the job was for his candidate. I was almost tempted to go the ways of the heathen, but glory to God I overcame the pain and psychological trauma inflict  on me by that man and his boss.

Two weeks later I saw the same man praising God in a Church at Magami Jalingo where I went to lobby for web job,. I have forgiven him and that boy he fear to let the truth reigned.  

Let us intensify prayers on behalf of Taraba state because this kind of bloodshed is liable to label an indelible curse on a state. We all know how grave the repercussion of having God’s back turned against us is.

With the coming of Arc. Darius Ishaku which is aged and experienced enough to Father Taraba state, we pray that God would use him and his government to nab the killings at its bud using every means possible.
