DANGOTE AND TARABA : Chairman of committee ensured justice over payment of Compensation in Taraba

The chairman of the committee on the payment of compensation on land acquired for the production of Dangote sugar company in Lau Local government Area of Taraba State, Mr Irimiya Hammanjulde says the committee has received over 200 complaints from the people from the area. Honorable Irimiya Hmmanjulde revealed this yesterday in Jalingo while speaking with Journalist.  He explained that the complaints ranged from under payment, no payment and non-inclusion of farm lands on the compensation list submitted to the state government.

Hammanjulde said all the complaints so far received will be investigated and only genuine one's will be attended to and asked the affected people to be honest and transparent in their transactions with the committee as any person comming for the second payment will be sanctioned accordingly.

speaking further, Honorable Hammanjulde said  the committee is requesting the state government to extend the period allocated to the team because the one month period has expired, adding that two weeks extension should be approved for the committee to complete its assignment. He assured those that have not paid to remain calm as they will be attended to as the payment continues

A Nigerian journalist with DW Radio Service, Germany, Faruk Muhammad Yabo shared the sad story on Facebook: "The story of this under-aged Maimuna an orphan of Birnin ruwa village in sokoto who was raped, impregnated and abandoned by one Alhaji Giwa of the same village as accused, is very touchy.  Maimuna who is 8 month pregnant, has nobody to cater for her pregnancy in this very young age. Narrating how he dabbled into politics, Jonathan said, “It all started with me and Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha.
