  Tribunal Nullified AKWA-Ibom governorship election, orders re-run election The Akwa Ibom state governorship tribunal today nullified the April 11 governorship election in 18 out of the 31 Local government areas in the state, citing irregularities in the manner in which the elections were conducted. The tribunal ordered that fresh elections should be conducted in the affected Local government areas while the state governor, should still remain in office pending the outcome of the re-run election. APC governorship candidate in the state, Umana Umana had dragged the state governor and PDP candidate Udom Emmanuel before the tribunal, challenging his victory at the poll.

A pastor in South Africa has abandoned the pulpit for a coffin, literally. According to church member and former drug dealer, 28 year old Aphiwe Nqevu 'brought the coffin to illustrate to people who fail to embrace Jesus as the son of God that they will go to hell and face eternal death. They said they use coffin to 'urge people to embrace God because once death occurs, it is too late to decide'. People in the area protested, saying it was scaring children and it was disrespectful.

K anu Nwankwo's first son, Sean (the tallest in the group) has followed his father's footsteps as a footballer. Sean is an under 11 for Watford and also plays for his school, St John’s Prep and Senior School football team. He recently helped his team win the under-11 English Schools Football Association Enfield Borough Football Tournament. His team won the competition with 7 goals, four of which was scored by Sean.
